It was great to go back to find out the backstory of Luci and Candy and find out how they met, what Luci did- as Candy said back in season 2 that Luci had saved her life and now we know what that suitcase of cash was for in season 2 episode 14. .The ending of this episode was so special but the random comic line was totally improvised by Tom Ellis so that Lauren German's laugh was genuine. The Director liked it so it was kept in. Tom was given quite a lot of licence to throw in jokes throughout the whole series and he does, and if they were liked, they stayed in. Ella's line about the voices gave me pause for thought too when I heard it but I had learned that these writers never add throwaway lines (except Tom!) and often add little hints for us to think about or question and don't always give us the answers straightaway, so I expected we would find out more.
