I remember having the same reaction when they didn’t move out of the way. But I think we didn’t realize how fast the car was going. Lori could’ve moved out of the way, but Brett wouldn’t have made it. So I Think she didn’t wanna leave it. Also it’s a nice call back when she said “close your eyes,” which is what Brett told her when she was about they were about to be shot in 4x10. Also Scott only temporarily stopped some of the pain, Gerard wasnt fully healed until Chris gave him the yellow wolfbane
