Finn wasn’t the most loved character in the series but I do believe he was by far one of the most misunderstood of the series. Klaus, Rebekah, Elijah and even Kol found times in which they were happy after they had to flee from Mikael. It’s obvious the main 3 where klaus, Elijah and Rebekah but at times they decided to undagger Kol and give him some sense of an experience throughout their life, Finn didn’t. While all the siblings had each other Finn and Kol were left to be alone. And in rare times Kol was part of those times. Finn didn’t even have that luxury. Kol still has a lot of dislike for his family even with occasions in his life of some sense of love from his siblings but Finn didn’t. So I could never be completely mad at him for the way he was, he was made into the villain from lack of love from his siblings. If one notices all the orginals dislike their existence except for klaus in occasion but the bond between eachother is what’s kept them sane, if that bond is taken klaus and Elijah have said that they’d go mad, hence Finn. Was a very sad episode and Although Finn wasn’t the most loved his existence history is up there with the tragic existence of Klaus’s past.
