(nearly out of breadth from her brilliant and nuanced thoughts..) "I hope this show never ends." ~ Evie Wonderful Reaction to a Wonderful Season! We're leaving, what for me, was that last great season of OL... and embarking into a roller coaster ride of higher highs (luckily we 'start' up high) and fall into the lowest of lows in a Season 5 blur of unsettled life on the Ridge. Season 4 is MY last 'Great' season but Season 5 is SO much 'More' at times, and so much 'Less', but it's DEFINATELY NOT BORING! (Season 6 JUST SUCKS, (for me), but that's a different matter) I can't wait for Evie to get on the crazy Up and Down, Life and Death, and all too Shocking Season 5.

Hi Evie! Great reaction and insight as always! I don't blame you for crying from having just watched Supernatural before this episode. That was a tough one. I have been thinking the same thing for a while now, if you are going to get caught up before season 7 comes out. Remember we had to wait a year or more for the next season and we had to wait 2 years for season 6 due to the pandemic. The season was also cut short because Catriona Balfe was pregnant. I remember when this episode aired. A lot of people were upset because in the book, Claire and Jamie do make it back in time for Brianna to give birth. Of course, Claire is there to deliver the baby and Jamie is up near Brianna's head holding her hand and comforting her. People really wanted to see that. We didn't even get a scene between Jamie and Brianna to mend things. All we got was Jamie passing her food at the dinner table. Really?? That's it! After all they've been through. I like that the books are able to have more Jamie and Brianna moments. It also bothered me that nobody asked where Ian was. I know that it was explained off screen, but when Claire and Jamie came back without Ian, someone should have asked where he was and that he stayed with the Mohawk in order to get Roger back. I agree with you Evie, ever since they arrived in America, Ian has been fascinated by the Cherokee near Fraser's Ridge and became friends, so it's no surprise that he stayed with the Mohawk and seemed very happy at the end. But, that scene when Jamie was willing to exchange himself to get Roger back for Brianna and then cried when he had to say goodbye to Ian. That broke my heart. I can't believe we finished season 4, it doesn't seem that long ago when they first arrived and met Stephen Bonnet.
