Sam has been seeing Lucifer hallucinations the whole time, off and on at least. The show just showed us that he has ways to determine what’s real and what isn’t, as we saw in the second episode of the season when Dean helped him figure it out by pressing on his injured hand. In his and Bobby's talk, he said he’s luckily he understand the form that his "crazy" takes basically, so he can deal with it, which, according to Sam, makes him fortunate compared to others. But Sam is not "fine." He’s just good at coping. I think the season could do a better job of reminding us of that he is still seeing things. It’s easy to forget that he is when it isn’t shown and only briefly mentioned. But, neither Sam or Dean are doing great this season. I’m not sure how I feel about this episode overall. I do think parts are funny (like people have pointed out already) and I like that Bobby has talks with both Sam and Dean, but the tone is a bit off for me. I also just really dislike the leviathans. Also, I too hate listening to people chew. It’s the grossest thing ever.

But your devastation at the end of the episode was pretty much what the entire fandom felt when this episode originally aired. It was as if you could hear a loud NOOOOOOO when we see Bobby’s hat with a hole in it and the boys yelling his name as it fades to black. I always love your reactions 😊

I love a stoned Dean! 😄😄 I love that you went back to see his little, "sassy lady head wiggle" again, cause that cracks me up every time too! "I don't care that I don't care!" 😁 But my face was 100% the same as yours when we find out that Bobby's been shot - devastating! 😔 Just an interesting fact, Jim Beaver actually never had what's called, "series regular" status. Apparently the producers offered it a couple of times, and he considered it, but he enjoyed the freedom afforded to him as a guest star, and that's how his credit always appeared on the screen, "guest starring Jim Beaver". 😊 Loved this reaction, as always! ❤️ P.S. I'm 100% with you on the food chewing noises, it literally makes me wanna puke/scream. I absolutely can't take it! 🤢
