Poor Brianna... I'm still shocked. I hope Bonnet will get what's coming to him.
8,5/10! we still had good moments!
What did you think of this episode??

At that time, a woman unaccompanied was in constant danger, that scene was....I don't even have words to describe it.

2022-11-23 17:53:01 +0000 UTCOh Evie, I had the exact same reaction when Roger ran into Fergus! If only they knew… ughh… so close! So much going on in this episode with Roger finding Brianna, the hand fasting, consummation and then argument. I know she told Roger to go in anger, but now she doesn’t know where he went, maybe trying to find passage back to Scotland and the stones. I have to be honest, I like Brianna and Roger just fine, but in my eyes, they will never come close to Jamie and Claire. I have no problem fast forwarding past their scenes in this episode when I rewatch it on my own, but I NEVER do that with Jamie and Claire. In fact the first few episodes before they get married in Season 1, I tend to fast forward to Claire and Jamie scenes, like the gathering when she trips over him and he takes her back to the castle or the very first episode when they meet and he calls her Sassenach for the first time, or when he slept outside her door... Okay, I’ll stop because I could go on and on… And all the while that was going on with Brianna and Roger in this episode, Claire was operating on a man in the lobby of the theater, while Jamie was trying to figure out how to warn Murtagh without letting the Governor know… phew! I was so happy to see Fergus and Murtagh, I had forgotten that they knew each other when Fergus was a little boy in Paris. BTW Evie, there are some scenes with Fergus speaking French. The actor playing adult Fergus is French… and very handsome I might add. Marsali is a lucky lady. Oh Bonnet!! I feel to sad for Brianna, but I’m also really angry. I loved that ring and want to see it returned to Claire, but from now on, that ring will always be associated with what happened to Bree in my mind and I can’t stand that! I look forward to watching the rest of season 4 with you Evie. You will feel the range of emotions over the remaining episodes. Anger, sadness, confusion, happiness, pride, excitement, loss… the whole circle. And I’m here for it all. Question for you Evie, have you gone back and watched any episodes from season 1 yet? Just curious.

2022-11-22 03:15:45 +0000 UTCHi Evie ! So painfull to watch that one again... Hopefully, next one IS going to be better. I mean, it can't be hard after this one... I think Sophie Skelton did a great job, her acting is better and better, and this specifics horrible emotions... I had chills... It reminded me of the reaction I had when we saw Jamie with that piece of **** Black Jack Randall.... I mean. Yes. Next one please .... a great one to feel better emotions and put smiles on our faces ^^

2022-11-21 22:01:14 +0000 UTCEvie's excitement for this episode was palpable. Then when Roger happens upon Fergus, and Evie realizes everyone is in Wilmington, Evie becomes absolutely 'giddy!' Of course, at the moment she hears Brianna, at the reunion with Roger, Evie goes over the top. And after, "You have ALL of me" and "How can I say 'No' to a man who pursued me for 200 years?" Evie's eyes went wide and smiles widly at the decicion to handiest. I think Evie also liked the chance meeting with George and Martha Washington. But I know Evie loved Briana and Rogers's handfast marriage ceremony! Then while the play begins, for some out of the blue reason, Evie makes the most unfortunate recall about Bonett likely being in Wilmington as well. I don't think I will describe Evie's reaction during the consumation (juicy), but the commentary afterward, was surprisingly frank and "happy" about the beauty and the passion. I was surprised that Evie didn't realize Fanning had a hernia but knew Clare would save him! And even a bit more admiration at Fergus saving Murtaugh. However, Evie didn't say much and only quietly rolled her eyes with mouth agape at the famously disastrous honeymoon argument between the newlyweds. The small smile left on Evie's face after Briana headed back to the hotel was so... so sad for us... us who knew what was coming next. Then when Evie sees and says; "That's Clare's ring!" and "Run! Take it! Run!" "Careful Briana!!!" all we could do is grit our teeth for poor Evie. "What the hell?" "Horrifying!" "He's the devil." "I don't feel like talking." Evie, your reaction and commentary here is priceless, as good as any finale episode, but, BUT EVIE... Now, on to 'The Birds and the Bees'... truly one of the greatest episodes in all of the Outlander series... if not the entire history of television!
