What did you think of this episode??
Comments
Speaking of James Marsters, he narrates an audio/book series called "The Dresden Files". I think his voice / narration is 50% of the reason I fell in love with the books, haha.

To be fair, neither does James Marsters! Lol! I have watched all of Buffy and Angel, and LOVED them! They were both great shows (though I preferred Buffy) and set a lot of standards for shows like SPN to follow. I haven't watched them for years now, though, so I should give them a re-watch at some point. ๐ I don't love this episode, just cause I feel like it's a bit silly, and doesn't do much to progress the story, but I actually enjoyed it a lot more re-watching it with you. ๐ I found it much funnier this time around. So, thanks for that! ๐ You probably realize this now that you know the antagonist in the episode was a witch, but the first woman that was killed in the hair dryer - she definitely could have just ducked out from under it (and you see her sort of trying to do that) but the witch (Maggie) wasn't letting her move. Such a gruesome death. ๐คข๐จ I've heard some people say that Dean is a hypocrite in this episode because the Starks have both killed people and he didn't go after them to kill them. But one - they finally have a lead on the Leviathans, with the guy Don froze. Two, they ended the war between the Starks, which means they won't be killing more people in the town. But third, and probably most importantly, I don't think the boys could kill them! They're EXTREMELY powerful, 800 year old witches. And now that Sam and Dean can try and figure out more about the Leviathans, they're putting their efforts there instead. Makes sense to me, I don't think it's hypocritical, just prioritizing a bit, and realizing their limitations. The show is definitely taking a look at how Dean deals with his feelings, drinking being one of them (an obviously unhealthy one) but also burying his feelings deep down, hoping they'll go away. My poor bebe! He needs all the cuddles! ๐ I enjoy Dean (incorrectly) calling Sam "Lance" throughout the episode, and I also giggle when he's like, "The Lindbergh baby - that's on me. Unemployment - my bad!" ๐๐ Always cracks me up! Anyway, you made me enjoy this episode so much more than I have in the past that I'm changing my rating in the poll from a 5 to a 6-7. I'd say I'm firmly at a 7 now! ๐ Next episode is great! Looking forward to it!
