That scen when amon said wit a broken voice "she toss us aside" is all the hearth breaking he had to carried for years, all his supersensitivity to being unjustly hurt, that is where is coming from, wy he hates laying, becaus enot lie is an act of rebellion to his childhood abuse where he was forced to lie and take the blame. Ian in that scene was magnificent!!! I played that scene time and time again and is so unbelievebly hearth shattering.

The point here with Lilly is that sure she was an abused woman, but se was the adult, and she left Damon to be the one that has taking the baleme for things happening in the house to protect Stefan and her, he was 12. Than she did fake her death an abondon him at 17 to an abusive father in charge of a 9 years old brother, she was avampire she could have come back and kill Giuseppe and free them from him. Not only she shave in Damon's face that the family she has now means to her more then them, she took their house, she suggested Kay how to punish Damon by putting Elena in a beauty sleep. I mean, I don't have any sympaty for her she put Damon through hell, Stefan was too little to know what whent through in that house an how much he own Damon for having thank to him for shelter him and making sure he had a faily normal childhood, childhood Damon could never have because he was bitten black and blue since he was 5. The vase accident she reminded him in their family cript. So no, if you are an ault you have to have the responsibility of your children not the opposite. So no I have little compassion for her. She was a crappy mother that let Damon to be abused and never showed him compassion.
