This was awesome to watch with you! Such a creepy movie and premise. It was made on a shoestring budget so there are definitely some moments that make me giggle now, just like you - the skeleton mom in the bed for sure (though it scared the bejesus out of me when I was little!) and the "doll" mom being sucked through the door window - definitely crack me up! I watched this for the first time when I was about eight. And I had a bunch of nightmares about the scenes from 26:42 - 27:13 where Tina is standing and then laying in the school hallway in the body bag. I just found that so creepy and terrifying for some reason. ๐ฑ๐ฑ When Nancy says, "God, I look 20 years old.", it was a kind of an inside joke, because the actress, Heather Langenkamp, was actually 20 when they filmed the movie, pretending to be like 15 or 16. ๐ Yes, this was in fact Johnny Depp's very first professional role. He's so young and adorable here! But damn Glen and his inability to stay awake! Like, my dude - wtf?! Lol! It's one thing with Nancy falling asleep instantly, she's been up for 7 days, but you've been sleeping not too bad, and you can't stay up past midnight? ๐ This was a really fun spooky season re-watch for me - loved it!
