Also, there is a real Fraser's Ridge in North Carolina. They are taking advantage of the Outlander connection and offering special tours and cabins to stay in.

The double standard for men an women . Is still around to this day . An she was wrong because back in the day Women were super old-fashioned. 2022 women are not old fashioned . In America marriage is drilled into the heads of all little girls here . The dream wedding . There are court house weddings . That don't cost weddings . Men feelings are strong when it comes to picking a wife . I agree she is young . Now for Roger it's his fault not knowing she didn't want to get married . Do her feelings override his feelings. 90 percent of men would agree with Roger. What if she never changes her mind . Then she waisting Roger's time .

I think from his point of view, he has found this young woman who he’s fallen in love with and all the women he’d been with before didn’t matter to him because he didn’t love them, but he said that he’s old fashioned and because he loves Brianna, he would like to wait for marriage before they are intimate. Do I agree… No. But I guess I can also see what he meant. I live in North Carolina and there really is a place called Fraser’s Ridge up in the mountains a few hours from me. I’m gonna say it again… I hate the wig they have Sam wearing with the bangs. At least in S1-S3, Sam’s own hair didn’t have bangs straight across his forehead. I mean really… how many men do you know have bangs? 🙄

Evie understands your position man, but I think everyone (including you) should all understand Bree saying she's not ready... when clearly she' not ready... So Roger, take it down a notch, eh. I know the Clare/Jamie and Bree/Roger storylines were really quite separated in this episode, so I hope Clare's rather remarkable "spirit visitor" night in the storm experience isn't lost on Evie in any way (Roger really stole the show here). As we all know by now, almost nothing in OL, is ever... not connected to something... MORE. And, "spirits in the woods" ya... that coming back again somehow! At least all is well with Clare and Jamie. And Evie (everyone) Welcome to Fraser's Ridge!!! (home to my very favorite Bear McCreary theme music!)
