This sub-thread got me revisiting a 'couples listing' project I worked up a while back. 2022-09-26 10:24:09 +0000 UTC@Tara - I completely respect your opinion. as I'd say the vast majority of even diehard fans of 'Chuck,' are sorely disappointed in the show's ending and don't quite see the last 5 minutes and Sarah's bring there, Chuck's reassurance, and her request to be kissed once more, as an irresistible, subconscious reclaim by undeniable, yet in that moment, unexplainable soulmates... but... Sarah (badazz Queen of Women), and her long, challenging journey to trust in a man/love, and that ending, puts 'Charah' over the top for me! Even as a non-serious sci-fi tinged spy action parody wrapped in a pop-culture spoof dramody. I think most fans (including me) see the love story at the core of "Chuck' as being more serious. I just think most 'Chuck" fans see 'Charah' as an endearing miss... because the fans didn't get the fairy tale ending they envisioned... whereas I saw and felt the ending (valid or not) as the perfect fairy tale.

2022-09-21 11:31:19 +0000 UTCI'm going to rather rudely insert myself and my 'two-bit' opinion into this charming 'who's the best TV Couple challenge. Considering the breadth, and depth of a love story... Buffy and Angel must be considered for sure! When you add in a truly against-all-odds 200+20+ year Outlander romance, I'd say few can match Clare and Jamie. But I'd like to nominate a dark horse that combines both the depth and long odds of those two couples with a momentous co-dependant growth that defines the very notion of 'soulmate' which is tragically lost then recaptured in a magical last 5 minutes of a 91 episode run... I think just ahead of Clare and Jamie (my 2nd best), are... Charles Irving Bartowski and Sarah Walker from 'Chuck' - IMHO, The Greatest TV Couple Ever! - Charah Forever! - (dark horse for sure, but have you seen Chuck and Sarah's journey and their last 5 minutes?)

I looooove Buffy and Angel because it's so nostalgic to me.. but I just have to go with Claire and Jamie 100%!! they're truly the best couple I've seen so far! 2022-09-20 23:12:51 +0000 UTCEvie, I loved when you paused the show to say that Claire should pretend that Coco thinks it’s okay to travel and then she did that exact thing. When Jamie and Fergus were talking on the beach, they mentioned a storm that killed the Captain and a few other men. That is why they stopped on the beach, to fix the ship. I haven’t read book 3 yet, I believe the book goes into much more detail about the storm, but they couldn’t fit it all in. I’m with you regarding the first part of the episode, it’s not my favorite and when I rewatch it, I fast forward to when Claire runs to the beach. Ughh the look that Fergus gives to Jamie and Claire after he was pronounced Fergus Claudel Fraser 🥺 I watch that over and over. The final scene with the turtle soup is very popular from the book and that is the name of the chapter. The creators of the show didn’t want to call the episode Turtle Soup to give it away for the readers. But if you recall, during the opening credits when they showed the name of the episode, Uncharted, there was a tortoise swimming. Jamie and Claire are just too damn cute. I’m already looking forward to S4. Also I just need to say, I really miss Jamie’s hair from S1 and S2 😢 Question for you Evie… Claire and Jamie or Buffy and Angel (minus the Angelus part) 😁

I was like ohhhhh that's sooo cute ^And the end, the "sexy game" they play is very funny and is much relatable I think. Many people have already been in that state, I think she was more tipsy than drunk, you when you are warming up and being more...well I don't need to describe, we all get it ahah ^^ Be prepared for the season finale :) xxx

"THANK YOU for THAT ENDING!" BUT MUST ALSO BE Long Remembered in this channel for one... ahem... Disturbing Thing? ● Evie suggesting the end of the episode setting was wonderful, except Evie should have somehow been... included?!? What??? ROFLOL What??? Ya! Not Soon Forgotten! LOL ;-)
