That's Outlander! Never a dull moment. I'm afraid you'll have to wait for S. 4 before you see more of Bree and Roger. Another great reaction!

2022-10-23 19:23:48 +0000 UTCYou're right! I guess it's hard to see the similarities at first because her agressiveness is directed at Claire so it's kind of a reflex in my case to see her as a threat haha but if I put myself in her shoes I might act the same way! I'm excited to see what happens with her and Fergus!

2022-09-08 13:38:31 +0000 UTCHi Evie:) I remember thinking "why Marsali, Fergus" but I eventually realized that Marsali reminds me of Claire. Here in the beginning, maybe she's not as nice or a lil more aggressive but she's confident, strong willed, she speaks her mind... I even think Fergus says something to that affect in an upcoming episode. But ya, it was hard for me to dislike her.

2022-09-06 17:51:31 +0000 UTCHi Evie ! Nice reaction again ;) I was like you about Marsali at first. The couple she is forming with Fergus is going to be very interesting, as we can already tell they are serious about their relationship. More adventures to come, even if I prefered the last episodes of the season. ;) xx

2022-09-05 20:06:11 +0000 UTCHi Evie, “Doldrums” means a time of inactivity or improvement. Basically stuck. In this episode, that can be in regards to the ship as well as the relationships between some of the characters. This episode and the rest of season 3 were filmed in South Africa. They finished filming in Scotland and moved production to Cape Town. They had a few stationary ships that they used for exterior shots and built interior sets for when they are below deck that could sway which made it look like the ship was moving. I agree that Claire looks beautiful, as usual, I want a hat like the one she was wearing when Willoughby was telling his story. He did that to distract the crew from throwing Hayes overboard because he knew rain was coming and once that happened, the crew would turn their focus away from wanting to throw him over. I’ve said it before, I’m not a big fan of Hayes and Lesley (Jamie’s men from prison) It just makes me think that they are trying to replace Angus and Rupert Evie, you will come to like Marsali, I promise. 😊

2022-09-05 15:26:45 +0000 UTCThis crossing of the Atlantic is merely the first single step into a most uncertain Fraser future into the new world. Yet, even at the beginning, Evie is sensing that anytime Clare and Jamie get separated seems to be the most critical missteps and this may very well be one of those. Two other reaction factors I'd key on here... I really appreciate Evie's sensitivities for Marsali. Evie seems to have an intuitive understanding of Marsali's agreevied step-daughter resentment for Claire, and still, Evie can find a slight sympathy for the girl. And with Evie, I think there's even more fondness for Willowby than most Outlander fans have at this point. Both of these observations say A LOT about Evie. IMHO. Evie again over-performed with a great reaction to a good episode.
