2022-08-28 00:06:19 +0000 UTCOh and I'm a lawyer.... (for real) . . .and if they all thought Claire was dead, he would never have had to divorce her. Since she turned up again and they never divorced, Jamie is still legally married to Claire. So he doesn't have to divorce anyone, I don't think. (But I don't know Scottish law at this time in history, either, so there's that.)

2022-08-23 00:24:55 +0000 UTCI didn’t mention this after the reunion episode, but just hearing Jamie call her Sassanach again puts a smile on my face. Fun fact: The A. Malcolm print shop sign has a “J” and “C” hidden in the design. I understand Claire’s point about Jenny and Ian being worried about their son because that’s what parents do and because Claire is a parent she gets it, but I can also see why Jamie reacted the way he did when she said that he’s not Young Ian’s parent and doesn’t understand what it means to be a parent. The fact that he didn’t have a say about how Brianna was raised and then questioning whether Frank was a “true” husband to her. I am on Claire’s side though that Jamie should not have lied about not knowing where Young Ian was. Ha! I love it when Jamie calls Fergus Mon fils. Of course they couldn’t use the same actor because 20 years have passed, but I like the casting of this older Fergus, plus he’s nice to look at 😜 Like the young Fergus, they are both French actors. In fact, if I remember correctly, the young Fergus didn’t speak English or very little and had to learn for the role. The next episode will be fun to watch with you Evie.

2022-08-22 17:30:30 +0000 UTCSometimes when Claire talks to people or has arguments where she thinks she is always right she has a tendency to dismiss peoples feelings and says things without think such as He isn't a father and wouldn't know how they felt. She knows he couldn't raise Brianna or his son and their first child died.

2022-08-22 14:45:12 +0000 UTCOutlander is a great television series. A reaction to Outlander can be great as well, but it may also fall short. These reactions are truly great because of the reactor. My evidence... Evie's almost immediate appreciation, no, affection, for Young Ian. She seemed to feel it faster than it was possible to learn it from the story - (little can she imagine how much we will all come to love Young Ian as we move forward). Also, Evie's intuitive sense about Jamie being married, again, before Fergus could confirm that a marriage was the issue for Ned Gowan to address back in Inverness. But, my last most important reason for claiming Evie is such a great reactor is seemingly the opposite argument - Evie hasn't a clue about Jamie's second wife! And THAT is why I like Evie, so very, very, very much!!! We're all fortunate to be on this Outlander journey with Evie.
