The episode hasn’t even started and you are talking about your jaw dropping at every episode so far, I can’t wait to see your face when… you know…😉 I can’t imagine being apart from your soulmate for this long. They have lost so much time. Ughh… when Jamie says he’s lost two children himself 😭 In the book, Claire’s friendship with the other doctor, Joe Abernathy, is more detailed, but they weren’t able to show all of that during these episodes. We can just see that they are really good friends as you said. Fun Fact: When Jamie drops her in the mud, they had to do that over and over and the costume department had to make a few dresses so she could change into a clean dress to film the scene again. Sam was happy that someone else was getting dirty in this episode because he said he is usually the one covered in mud all the time. I was also afraid he was going to get caught going to her room the first time I watched this episode. I’m so torn with this episode and just like you, I kept saying No, No, NOOO!! When I saw that she was pregnant. I’m happy that Jamie has a son, and even though he was there to see Willie during the first 6 years of his life, he wasn’t able to be his Dad. Once again, he is unable to raise his child. First he lost Faith, then Brianna and now Willie. And I’m upset that he has a child with someone other than Claire. It makes me remember when they were at Lallybroch and he said he wanted to fill the house with their sons and daughters when Claire didn’t think she could have children. Does that make sense? Evie, I thought the same thing as you when you asked Does that make me a bad person because Geneva died. I love the scene when Jamie was talking to baby Willie, saying how wee he is and then when Jamie said “dinna fash yourself, I’m here.” “I’m a stinking papist” haha. Seeing Jamie riding away from Willie and not turning back was so heartbreaking 💔 Lady Isabelle and John Grey won’t say anything about Willie’s paternity because he is an Earl and he would lose everything if the truth comes out.

2022-08-08 19:37:26 +0000 UTCThe screen goes black. THEN... Oh Man! That was a sigh! These Evie-Outlander reactions are as good and HEARTFELT as it gets. Better still, no detail or a situational dynamic for either Jamie or Clare gets missed. Evie just seems to share joy because she loves this so much! but... But... BUT! While I thoroughly enjoyed the Hellwater and Jamie search stories from Lost Things (especially young Willie)... for me... what comes next... is the MAGNIFICENT CONTINUATION of DF-in-A! - FREEDOM & WHISKEY - I'd rate it as a Top 10 Episode for sure!!! And, I can't wait for Evie to get to F&W!

2022-08-08 18:58:56 +0000 UTCI thought maybe Jamie was enjoying the blackmailed sex a bit too much but honestly -- he thinks Claire is never coming back, he's still a man with needs and hasn't had sex other than that one time with the woman at Lollybrock before he turned himself in. So I can't blame him. I mean, she's a pretty young woman and he needs some touch. But the blackmail was bullshit of course.
