Hello, Evie. I hear you mentioned the episode count. The writers originally intended season 2 to also be 13 episodes, like season 1. However, when the show first aired on FOX, the studio wanted more episodes to make a longer season to coincide with other shows at the time that had 18 to 24 episodes. So, they added episodes 14 to 18 to season 2. Once you reach 2x13, you'll see a natural "ending point" that was originally supposed to be somewhat of a cliffhanger. This is why the events of 2x14 occur several weeks after 2x13. Also, 3x1 happens like the day after 2x18, because they originally figured on one long storyline at that point. Same with season 3, episodes 1 to 10. 3x10 has a little cliffhanger of its own. Thus, original intent was season 2 episodes 1 to 13, as season 2. Then 2x14 to 2x18 + 3x1 to 3x10 as season 3. About 15 episodes. Then 3x11 to 3x24 as a "season 4". Add in the 2 bonus eps, and that is another 15 episodes. However, FOX meddled with the order and we have season 1 as 13 episodes. Season 2 as 18 eps, and Season 3 as 24 eps (with 2 bonus episodes 3x25 and 3x26). As a result, season 3 may seem to drag on a little, with some episodes that can be deemed 'filler', but are fun to me nonetheless. FOX then (to the shock of many) canceled the show after messing with it, and Netflix picked it up for seasons 4 through 6, which is why those seasons are also different. Season 4 on NetFlix is 10 episodes, Season 5 was 16 episodes, split into two parts, 5x1 to 5x8 and then 5x9 to 5x16. 5x16 was originally planned to be the series finale but once a final season 6 was confirmed, 5x16 was reworked slightly, and season 6 delves with other subject matter.

Glad to watch the show again "with you" and appreciating some moments I forgot ^^ This season is very interesting and gets more "personal" with Luci's story and everything ;) Hope you are having fun watching it
