Interesting and sad fact I just learned, the FBI tried to get this movie banned from screening at all as "communist propoganda"

Your anger at Potter was awesome, there are still so many people like him today (maybe more!) and we need more George Baileys to stand up to them. George's transformation from wide-eyed idealist to a sad, frustrated, and finally completely broken man never fails to rip my heart out. And his reformation into someone who understands his own worth and place in the world makes me cry EVERY time. Lol! It's just a truly beautiful piece of film history and I absolutely love it! Thanks so much for watching it! 😘

Jimmy Stewart, who played George Baliey, was known for inspirational good guy roles! Another inspirational movie he was in was Mr. Smith Goes to Washington! Thank you for all you do!
