very skippable episode to me.. especially after the good run we had lately, it felt a bit out of place.. maybe it's bc idc that much about Derek but it was a weird slow episode in the middle of some crazy ones

2022-08-20 15:47:08 +0000 UTCU know what I loved about this episode was the music, I couldn’t stop thinking about the penguin in TikTok when Lacrimosa came in and the last choir when the guy inhaled helium to hit that high note. Over all this episode was a really really good episode, the background music was even better

2022-07-04 01:30:08 +0000 UTCOne of my least favorite episodes by far, mostly because the cookie-cutter romance between Derek and generic love interest number 35, who we've never seen before, who will never appear or be mention again and who we learn absolutely nothing about (except that she plays in instrument, wow, character development), falls completely and utterly flat on its face. And it takes up sooo much time. Basically half the episode is completely skippable and that's a problem... More backstory on Deucalion on the other hand is appreciated and saves the episode from being complete trash.

2021-12-09 21:39:59 +0000 UTCThe crazy thing is, we can thank Gerard and Marco for the alpha pack . We seen in this episode that Deucalion wasn’t always evil, and even wanted to meet with Gerard to make peace, but Gerard ambushed Deucalion, and blinded him. Remember in 3x04 , Deucalion said that he accidentally found out he could kill a beta and take their power. Marco saw Deucalion as unfit once he became blind and was going to try to kill him to become alpha but Deucalion killed him. It wasn’t until then that he realized he could steal tho power of his betas by killing them. This makes me think that of course Deucalion wouldnt try to be as peaceful as he was again, but if Marco wouldn’t have tried to kill him, then ultimately Deucalion wouldnt have killed his whole pack and Kali and Ennis wouldn’t have gotten the idea to do the same. I just wrote this out because I know some people miss the correlation between the flashback in this episode and part of the speech Deucalion gave Derek in 3x04.
