I can 't say what will happen next . In general, I just wanted to say that in my opinion Caroline has always had feelings for Stefan hidden from the very beginning. And that's why she can't watch him suffer. Many people don 't like what Caroline does in the first half of season 4 . I think she's just trying to make Stefan happy. And she can 't lie to him . Because it will break his heart even more . And the moment of this dance , when she said that Stefan would fall in love without realizing it . And the way she looked at him . For me, it confirmed my theory that she has these hidden feelings for Stefan, although maybe I'm wrong, and she just gave a friendly opinion

Yeah they have a great chemistry but to me they're just friends I guess that's why I didn't really talk about it.. this makes me think they'll get together or something hahah

It 's rather strange that you didn 't see the chemistry between Stefan and Caroline in this dance ) And in episode 16, when Caroline said that the hall was full of hot girls , he took her) Although reviewing the series, it seemed to me that Caroline always had feelings for Stefan, but he rejected her in episode 1 of season 1, and so she just moved on . But she just can't watch Stefan suffer, so she always takes his side. She always wants happiness for him. And that 's why she wanted Elena to be with him . Because it made him happy

Amara didn't die as human, she was human first, but Silas did something....not with Quetsiya . I can't say more not to spoil, but think about the story as it went and you'll see that I'm right.

Just a correction to what Patpet said: Technically Amara wouldn't be on the other side she'd be dead and be wherever humans go when they die as opposed to stuck on the other side where supernatural creatures go. If he could still be with her on the other side even if Quetsiya is there or just take down the wall to the other side and they could live on Earth he'd have no reason to want to die. IN SHORT: Amara died a human. He wants to cure himself of being immortal but even if he does that he's still a witch and witches still go to the other side. He wants to bring down the other side, take the cure and die so he can pass on to be with Amara without getting stuck in supernatural purgatory.

Don't worry dear, I can explian it to you. By simply killing himself as human he would go where humans go when they die and be forever separated by his true love that being supernatural is supposed to be on the other side, where every supernatural being is and where Quetzia is too. So by destroing the other side will bring Amara back to him and they could kill each other and find peace together, where Quetzia cannot get them.
