The Vampire Diaries and The Originals Watch Order

I just wanted to let you guys know how I'm going to be dealing with TVD and The Originals, I will be watching them both at the same time so I will be following a watch order!
The question now is which one would you prefer I follow? I've seen one that switches show every 1 or 2 episodes and another one that is more like every 5 episodes or so
I just finished watching TVD 4x17 and I'm getting pretty close to starting The Originals so you guys let me know!!! β‘β‘

Yeah this has the right order and sometimes people think have to finish season eight first then start season 4 of the originals
