Audio too low? I think I fixed it!
Added 2025-06-28 18:48:34 +0000 UTCHey Billy!
Here is an Audio Test version of "Avengers: Infinity War Reaction" - https://sortastupid.net/movies/avengers-infinity-war-reaction-sound-test/
and here is the original https://sortastupid.net/movies/avengers-infinity-war-reaction/
I believe I have found a way to better equalize the audio so this new version should be way more balanced and shouldn't be as hard to hear. And in theory this also shouldn't overpower us either. If you like the movie or are down to check out some scenes and compare from the original let me know. If this is better we can make sure to use these settings going forward to hopefully make your viewing experience better overall!

2025-06-29 15:28:15 +0000 UTCI used to edit for a different reactor and trying to get audio levels right was always an annoyance. I'd scrub through everything looking for quieter moments and then boosting them and even then sometimes it just wouldn't come out as good. So I totally understand the struggle.

2025-06-28 20:04:35 +0000 UTCif you don't mind me asking, what software do you use? I'm a reactor and also have difficulties with sound and balancing right to prevent copyright claims and I also try to look for other resources to help me.

2025-06-28 19:57:50 +0000 UTCYea Game of Thrones has been so hard because it has so many super quiet moments. Gunna work on a possible solution to clean things up

2025-06-28 19:03:45 +0000 UTCThe only track that was changed was the movie/show not the mics. It's likely the better balancing just made it sound better for you :)

2025-06-28 19:03:11 +0000 UTCThe crew sounds louder as well, which is great. From what I can hear, it sounds like you (or the software used) increased the volume as a whole by 3-4 dB and then added +2-3 dB to the movie part of the video. That may not be correct, but that's what it sounds like. It sounds good! I no longer have to push my audio levels up on my mixer by 50%, and then get my ears blasted when I go watcha YouTube video because I forgot to turn it back down, lol.

2025-06-28 18:57:18 +0000 UTCI’m excited to check this out. I’ve found watching with headphones helped the sound out but it’d be nice to not have to use them.
