I hear you guys talking about how dark SUF is compared to SU. That SU is lighter and happier, and in many ways it is. I strongly encourage you to go back and revisit SU after you finish SUF. SU is not as happy as you think. Everything that happens in SUF is set up in SU. The whole series is pretty dark once you know where to look. SUF broke me. I was shattered for like a week. Glad you guys enjoyed it!

2023-09-07 06:45:41 +0000 UTCi loved going on this SU journey with you all! personally, SUF is near and dear to my heart because it was timed very perfectly in my life. i also took on too many burdens and held on to far too many feelings, so seeing Steven let it all out in a cathartic moment was a fitting finale for me, as someone who always saw myself in Steven. however, I also understand the critiques that SUF feels way different than SU, and lacks rewatchability. SU is a comfort series for many, and SUF lacks the lighthearted filler that SU cushions its heavy topics with. I personally don’t really rewatch SUF unless it’s reaction content, since it has its biggest impact upon first watch. Unfortunately this is likely due to being constrained to 20 episodes, and not being able to take its time with Steven’s arc. Either way, I think this arc for Steven made sense, and the audience needed to see that he genuinely took on too many burdens. Thanks again for reacting to this series despite the fandom being so vitriolic towards you all at times. 🩷 XO!

But technically they are a reaction channel so their reaction is the focal point of their videos and content. So it makes sense they'd want to make the section for their face cams bigger than the media they're watching.

2023-09-06 22:12:16 +0000 UTCHey guys, I'm a bit surprised that I haven't really heard anyone mentioning it so far because personally it really bothers me but would you guys maybe consider to make the screen bigger again for us? It's size has almost halved... Like it's really so incredibly small in the overlay that I can barely watch any of the reactions these past few days. Especially for things that I haven't seen already myself I find it really hard to follow details. I personally don't think the facecams need to be bigger than the videos themselves since the show that we're watching should be the main focus afterall...

It felt realistic and I’m overjoyed for Steven to experience the earth and finally connect to the human side of himself he was always kind of deprived of to a degree. I think some fans who hated it it is bc they see them self in Steven and don’t like to be reminded they have issues and they they need to move on too, it’s too real for them, so they make excuses. But to me it was a good end. I’ve been with the show since season 2 and I’ve had to wait through every Steven-bomb, it’s been tedious and many years for me, but it’s been so worth it for me. I’m happy you guys enjoyed it!
