Re: Avatar - yes, the story is immediately picked up in collected stories in comic books. The first one, IIRC, addresses the fact that a hundred years of war have irrevocably changed the world and that "winning" doesn't give you the opportunity - or the right - to hit the reset button on the status quo. Another early collection I know y'all will want is called The Search and deals with the question of what happened to Zuko and Azula's mother. I haven't read anything definitive on this one, but there are rumors within the Avatar community that there are plans in the works for Azula to have her own redemption story.

There is a side story prequel comic issue that covers Rex Splodes life before the series that wasnt adapted that released between the comic issues for the events of episode 4 and 5 or so....its pretty dark, think wolverine level human experimentation on a 5 year old, and a fully replaced skeleton etc

Now that you’ve finished up Avatar you should definitely react to nostalgia critics review of the last Airbender movie! Well it might have a bit of a character spoiler for Korra season 1 in part of their skits so maybe something to check out after that. Regardless looking forward to korra reactions and maybe dragon prince since it has a lot of avatar references and a few VA’s and believe it was either written or directed by by some of the OG avatar creators.

And I know this channel😂😂 as they’ve shown they don’t take opinions and make it their own so I wouldn’t waste my time giving them a clear obvious fact and hope that makes them hate a series before seeing it because they clearly won’t do that😂 just like they’ve heard good and bad things about Korra(I love Korra myself) but they aren’t letting the good or bad opinions of the series stray them to like or dislike the series before even seeing it. I just think it’s interesting that the creators left the project and thought that the channel like others would find that interesting as well.

yes there are comics for ATLA and they are canon and continue the story from where s3 left off starting in order they are The Promise The Search The Rift Smoke and Shadow North and South Imbalance

Just so you guys know about the ATLA live action Netflix is doing both of the Co-Creators publicly left the project early into development due to Netflix wanting to do things that strays away from their vision of the series. So do with that information what you will😭

I'm watching your Ducktales reaction while I'm writing this and I just want to tell you guys I LOVE your Ducktales reactions and really wish more people talked about it/watched it cause it is such a good show. Season 3 won't disappoint.

I also think the reason DuckTales didn’t get much attention was because since it has characters like Donald, the triplets, nobody expected it to actually have a story or reimagined versions of the characters that a lot of people can relate to. Not to mention it was advertised as just a goofy kids show with nothing but silly hi jinx. Which is why it’s nice to see people like you four for example, actually giving it a chance and realizing it’s so much better than a lot of people made it out to be. Sorry for rambling. I’m just really passionate about this show. Its on the same tier as Gravity Falls, Amphibia. It deserves so much more love.
