It's explained that originally goku used instant transmission to teleport to Earth and killed Freeza himself. Trunks didn't know about instant transmission so he thought something was wrong or different so he impulsively killed Freeza instead. When Freeza's power disappeared Goku just stayed in his pod the rest of the way instead of teleporting to the surface (It's also possible that Freeza and his father were the only ones with a high enough power for Goku to lock onto and when they were killed and trunks powered down, Goku had to just fly the rest of the way)

I have to wonder, since trunks came from the future and killed freeza, who killed freeza in his universe? How did everyone not die from freeza before goku arrived if he wasn't there to save them?

No, it’s currently one of the worst performing reaction series we’ve ever seen. Like no exaggeration we’ve never seen a series bomb across the board as hard as RoK S2 is currently. As we’ve said before anime is a mess for reactions. The demand is not there & there’s a million people doing anime reactions. It will be extremely rare if ever that we do an obscure anime like that as the reach on them does not match our goals and would hurt the channel drastically if we did it

My personal favorite arcs was Red Ribbon Army from OG Dragon Ball, and the Android/Cell arc in DBZ. Though, the Namek/Frieza arc are pretty solid, too.

My favourite dragon ball arc is the red ribbon army arc because everyone gets ready to fight them to help Goku just to get there and see Goku has already destroyed everything.

In the commentary the creators are doing for these episodes they actually talk about how they felt they were too mean with yamcha and wished they'd pulled back earlier.

The time between episodes will start to increase too. For example it took them roughly the same amount of time to make the last three episodes as it did to make the first 33 episodes
