The Moon was the first waterbender and the Moon and Ocean spirits work together, so Yuuei calmed the ocean for Aang in the storm and sent a wave to help him find that little island. I love the continuity and recurring characters!

Can't wait for this conclusion. You're going to have an amazing time. And yeah, waiting over 9 months after the Book 2 finale was about as painful as you can imagine lol

He’s the last of his people and the last person with that cultural mark, he want to still feel like airbenders are *there* and that they aren’t going to disappear into the history books as an extinct people. In this case, yes I agree he should cover up bc of the fire nation, but in that moment he’s irrational and hurt so I get the frustration from Aang’s side.

As kids in the 2000s we never kept up with "update schedules" and somehow missed this entire book until the finale was announced. The first time I watched this season in its entirety was in my 20s. So yeah, I just had to accept the horror of the end of Season 2 for the longest time as "the end." Unfortunately, this also means you guys are leaving "nostalgia territory" for me, since kid me never got around to Book 3. But it's good to give the 3rd book another go-around.

2023-05-30 19:01:05 +0000 UTC"Shorter Book" this is not. Book 3 actually has 21 episodes. "Episodes 10 and 13" are both 2-parters, while "Episode 16" is a massive, 4-part finale. Handle it how you want, but I wouldn't be opposed to treating the finale like a movie and having it all in one video. It wasn't just "over the summer," also. The gap between seasons 2 and 3 was almost a full year.
