2023-05-29 19:20:45 +0000 UTCPersonally I think Ben’s growth in the original series is ignored because it’s very redundant. A lot of the lessons he learns are ignored and he repeats the same mistakes. Of course this makes sense for a 10-year old kid, but we don’t see the character growth stay until Alien Force. Personally, I feel like it still very much is Ben’s show but the other characters are interesting enough to where the focus doesn’t always have to be on him like it used to be. More than anything, AF is about Ben becoming a leader figure to the number of interesting plumber personalities we’ve met so far. He makes mistakes- Darkstar- and acknowledges those and continues marching forward.
