It is so beautiful, it actually helped someone very dear to me to understand what she was feeling, and worked things out from this. Forever grateful for that.

Briefly seen, also, at the moon base when showing the plans the gems had for Earth, you can see that this version of Earth had a massive chunk of land missing.

I'll say that what Connie tells Steven here is so real - you have to acknowledge and let yourself feel that pain, clearly, in order to start healing. And you have to be ready to take that step, and that part alone will take time. My friend has been gone for almost a decade now, and I miss him all the time, but no matter what I did or said or failed to do that day, there's no way he would want me to suffer over it for ten years. Grief is okay and very normal, but self forgiveness and acceptance that none of us are guaranteed to live a long life, and some things are just out of our control, is equally important. Wishing you support and healing 💚💚

Without going into detail, I lost a friend in an traumatic accident that I believed was my fault, and this episode aired at a time that I desperately needed to connect with something that understood how I was feeling. Steven's part of this episode really and truly did that for me, and helped me to start healing. It still gets me very emotional. I love this show. 💚
