I think Hordak is weirdly likeable (to the audience,) because he seems more sensible with leadership than some other villains who constantly do pointless, counterproductive stuff because they're just evil like that.

2023-05-21 21:37:17 +0000 UTCThe weird thing for me about season 1 is that while yes, it feels like the weakest individual season (albeit with some amazing episodes in addition to the world building), there's a whole lot of really subtle stuff packed into it that only really pops out on a rewatch.

Apparently that's boring, but without it the overreaching arc wouldn't have legs to stand on. It's the foundation for what's to come :3

But I feel like quality and story progression wise they're all great. I don't think ep 4 is worse than the first 3 or better.
