Absolutely not. 0/10 would never recommend. Additionally, I can't wait for the day the crew humors Hman again and watches High School Musical.

The title sounds corny but it's a really good show, there's of course romance but there's action, there's blood and some gore, and amazing storylines and plot twists. It would be fun

But she was absolutely lovely, and I loved having her on the reaction, especially since she said she was a fan of the Hunger Games series. Also as a female Billy, it was nice having some female energy in the room!

2023-05-19 20:23:17 +0000 UTCI read the books years ago, and they're full of concerning and creepy messages (also, every single other character is much more interesting than Bella and Edward.) It's full of things to rightfully criticize, but people used to mostly focus on "eww, girls like this" and sparkling vampires.

Also hearing Boom talk about how his school was small reminded me of how my whole high school was only 400 ppl with my grade being 100 ppl. I didnt realize that was considered small tbh. My brother's school was even smaller it was a K-12 school but the entire school was only 60 ppl. There were like 3 graduating seniors in his class including him LOL

2023-05-19 19:15:36 +0000 UTCi never disliked this movie but i wasn't fond of bella because i felt she had no identity outside of edward, rosalie was actually my fave girl outside of alice and she was right that they both were not understanding how difficult it was going to make their lives if he started dating bella, it seemed bella was signing onto forever with him before actually knowing herself and there's probably many reasons for that tied to her home life and how she grew up, i also of course do not like stephanie meyer who of course had racist/racial bias in how she saw the vampires - they become beautiful by being extra pale and adamantly refused to cast any diverse actors as vampires then only agreed when it would ultimately be a villian role. She literally says becoming a vampire “bleaches all pigment from the skin as it changes the human skin into the more indestructible vampire form.” White = indestructible. Ok, Meyers. AND that “Regardless of original ethnicity, a vampire’s skin will be exceptionally pale,” she continues, adding that darker skin tones may turn olive-toned but will not be dark. Many people criticised her vampire lore as not making sense and that's due to her implicitly racist bias seeping through to make sure everyone knew her vampires were perfectly pale and glistened like diamonds as they had to be perfectly beautiful as predators to lure victims in. so while i don't have a problem with this movie the books i could not touch.
