They should’ve called this episode Appa Alone

Ethan Hines

Sorry guys, I have to leave now

Joseph Harper

i'm watching this show for the first time with you guys. i've been binging your reactions and i didn't realize we're almost at the end of book 2!

reni

This episode breaks me

Federico Carnebale

This episode is and will always be painful...

The Seven Deadly Sins

This is definitely up there with Futurama's Jurassic Bark on big ugly cry vibes

Pikachahoo

One of the hardest episodes of anything to watch

RedFlagDiver

Appa ain't gonna start a fight......but he will END one.

Seraphem

The double whammy of Iroh's Tale and then this..... yeah this episode is always a gut punch to the feels.

Seraphem

You guys should watch Fantastic Mr.Fox for a movie night at some point. My personal favorite movie.

Beary

This episode won some kind of an award in 2007 for it's portrayal of animals in captivity in "children's" media entertainment. Also, I know I said it earlier today, but I feel like this is a good episode to praise Dee Bradley Baker some more. He's Appa. He's Momo. He's like half the characters in Ben10, Kids Next Door, and Star Wars. Just an overall talented voice actor!

Petrichor

"It's all happiness from here. Sunshine and rainbows." Oh bro, you guys aren't ready for this season finale 👏😤

Iron_Bishop

i remember that this was the first atla episode to make me cry. Because of that i skip it on rewatches which was a mistake cause now i’m full on sobbing

Kailey Anne

The first time I watched this episode, there were so many tears in my eyes that I couldn't even properly see the episode. I still really struggle not to break down like that when watching this episode. I love animals more than anything, so this episode literally left me broken for days. Had to pause y'alls reaction a few times to clear my eyes from the wall of tears that kept forming :,)

BonnieBunny89009

Boy this one sure came in like a wrecking ball to the heart huh? Love seeing people being emotionally invested but poor Boom looks like he got the wind knocked out of him this episode 💜

Nicholas Kanasky

We stan Guru Pathik at my house.

hurryupmode

Yeah Appa's Lost Days is crazy, and the constant anxiety makes it feel even longer than it actually is. This episode actually won some award for its accurate portrayal of circus animals and animal cruelty.

Deiondre0

This is the WORST episode in the series. Purely bc it hurts my heart seeing Appa get abused, and chased, and broken for an entire episode. Poor baby is traumatized by fire and he just wants Aang.

Honey

Little sidenote: The man on the watertribe-boat was the father of Sokka and Katarra.

Lenja

Easily the hardest episode to watch in the series. Appa is such a good boy and he didn’t deserve any of the bad treatment he got. I tear up every single time i watch this

Roronoa Zoro

Just so you guys remember. The Southern Temple is where Aang is from. The Northern Temple is where the inventor guy and his disabled son Teo live. And the Eastern Temple is this new place where Appa grew up and we meet Guru Patik.

Sydney Horton

Aang is a pacifist. Appa wakes up each day wondering how many people he's going to have to kill.

SweetCandle

bro this episode makes me tear up every time I watch it I cant with this 😭😭

Kay M

I was SOBBING during my lunch hour cause damn, I couldn’t wait. No matter how many times (and there are not many cause I wouldnt go through this torture) I watch this, always breaks my heart, specially coming from the last one, they just hit you right on the feelings… I admire your will to wait to see how it unfolds honestly

Luis Nov

I’ve been waiting for this episode reaction ever since I saw their love for appa form early on in the first season. I just knew this episode was gonna destroy them emotionally. Also, this episode won the Humane Society Genesis Award for its depiction of animal cruelty in the fire nation circus.

Ryanne Gentry

"I don't like this" basically sums up this episode, leave my boy Appa ALONEEEEE

Kemi Stanton

I'm so glad I found this channel you guys are awesome
