2023-06-19 04:03:46 +0000 UTC@Down D Stairs Hman recalled King Kai saying the energy surrounding the planets being invisible and assumed the bomb is too. But that's just it. The energy that is gathered is invisible. It's the ki/ spiritual energy of any living thing. But just like any other ki attack when the energy clustered together it becomes a mass and therefore visible.

2023-05-06 20:29:52 +0000 UTCThe Spirit Bomb works exactly 1 time in canon, and I attribute that to the mechanics of the technique that generally get glossed over in the anime (and in Abridged most definitely). How it works isn't just "gather energy from the surroundings and people willing to give it, then blow up target with said energy", that's only half of it. In the manga, they explain that it specifically targets the evil in the targets heart and attacks that ('member how Gohan bounced it back against Vegeta? Dats why), so just HOW EVIL an enemy is plays one of the biggest factors in if the Spirit Bomb will work.

2023-05-06 20:01:14 +0000 UTCThe spirit bomb does take a few episodes. power ups or transformations do not some say those take several episodes which it really doesn't something like super saiyan 3 that has goku screaming the entire time is only 5 minutes + with him even talking before going for it and not going right away to the transformation. I understand the spirit bomb but i never understood people saying that super saiyan transformations or powering up itself take several episodes it really doesn't. I feel like some people threw it way out of proprotion and exaggerated the time of transformations.

2023-05-06 17:44:58 +0000 UTCI’m assuming it’s okay for me to say this. The Spirit bomb works one time in the show, and it also works every time it’s used in the movies, but those times don’t count because they aren’t canon. Also I’d say the Destructo disc is equally useless when used by Krillin.
