I feel like most characters probably wouldn’t stand a chance against Marcelina in a pole. I actually really like Princess bubblegum. Obviously, though, I think some people probably hate her, as with most characters. At the end of the day, anybody can feel anything for any character 🤷♂️

They have said that in AT they try not to retcon things and build on what came before so they likely watched this episode again and picked out little details to expand on in the future.
