See the only reason I’m ok with them skipping the movies is because nothing in the movies matters till later on. And technically they are still watching in the right order release wise anyway with destroy all aliens because that didn’t come out till after alien force anyway.

As much as I really want to see the Alien Force reactions, if you’re gonna watch the movies later anyway, might as well do them now and get them over with. Obviously most people clearly don’t have the patience to wait or they just don’t like the movies (which is fair), but it’d be just two weeks doing the movies and then moving on to Alien Force. Not really that long of a wait.

I think the best comparison would be if in the original Dragon Ball manga, the super saiyan transformation appeared in a non-canon spinoff comic first, before appearing irl years later in DBZ, but then waiting to read that side story right before Goku turns super saiyan. I just don't see the point when the moments from the movies don't have a chance to surprise the viewer like they're supposed to.

I can appreciate taking input from fans, but man do a lot of people want you to watch things out of order. No shade at all, I'll keep supporting whatever decision you guys make. But skipping the movies is definitely not the recommended way to watch the show these days, the tone whiplash is gonna be so awkward. I can't even think of a good reason to skip the movies if you're just gonna watch them later. Honestly I'd wonder if it would just be better to skip them entirely at this point.

I understand the excitement for Alien forces is real but I just hope you do get around to the movie at somepoint even if bad you can enjoy how bad the live action one is, and I actually really really like destroy all aliens (cgi one)

Yeah, other than Secret of the Omnitrix and Heroes United (takes place sometime in the series after Alien Force) you won’t really miss much from ignoring the live films. They may be referenced in some places but you won’t be totally lost without them and Alien Force is just so good.

Neither if these movies are referenced until atleast season 2 of aliens force, maybe when season 3. They can release alien firce now and put up the movies after season 1. Also I'm 99% sure they already watched and recorded all 3 options since they do it like a month in advance

Do the movies. While they're not as good as the animated series, the series does reference a few of them in future episodes. At the very least, I'd recommend doing Race Against Time.

I can understand wanting to see the movies, but they should at least get into and consider the show the canon timeline. The movies are retconned really hard. If I recall, one of them was literally released and retconned within the same year. They're not total flops, but I'd rather the group not accidentally start considering the movies canon over the show, or getting burnt out with that much BT in one sitting.

I'd say destroy all aliens, the other movies are honestly horribly underwhelming, even if you go into them with low expectations, then into alien force, but that may just be my impatience to see it clouding my judgement

i would be happy with this, but i don’t want it to seem like we’re demanding to much from them, i just simply love alien force and would love for them to watch it next week and not have to wait another week for them, but if they could somehow fit this in it would be optimal
