I'm from Jersey, the shots at Jersey are true, proud to be from here

Jordan Rudnick

Nah dude, there's definitely filler. I don't mind it but let's not pretend.

batman831

literally they loved all of those episodes except for one. That reaction is coming this week.

Rez

dude theres no filler in this show. Just cuz they arent hype doesnt mean they are filler.

Kay M

No need to be grouchy about it, Mark. Stuff doesn't always have to be all plot all the time.

Mach Vincent

Who am I kidding nobody’s gonna listen to me

Mark Frado

They already reacted to it 🤦‍♂️

Mark Frado

SAME

Mark Frado

Can you guys please skip restaurant wars Kikis delivery service and beach city drift they’re literally just filler it has nothing to do with the collective plot

Mark Frado

OMG I never realized that when Pearl sings "And she's goooone" she literally lets go of the rose...

RedFlagDiver

Also remember when we first meet him with Greg and Rose? That is onion and sour cream's mom he is with and introduces to greg way back then.

Patrick Jordan

By the way, when you finish the first 5 seasons and get to the movie, it isn’t going to be only for gold members, right? Just since the whole series so far has been available to us all

LnKleinn

Heads up! There's a double-length episode incoming! In a few weeks, yall are gonna reach episode 100, titled Bismuth, and it's double length. Wanted to let you guys know, since you're currently lined up to have it as your second episode of the video, so you can adjust accordingly if needed.

DementisXYZ

my headcanon is that hman’s name is short for hu man and he’s just a confused alien who’s trying to blend in. he thought slaughtering his victims was a friendly earth custom

Joey

I remember when these episodes were premiering, there was someone on Tumblr who was actually tracking Greg's spending in a chart/list. A lot of fans were worried that the money would get blown too fast. This person looked at everything Greg bought, what got broken and had to be paid for, and was even trying to price check any different outfits he wore. I don't know what their user was, but it's still probably on Tumblr.

Jasmine Bushrod

Mr. Greg is by far one of my favorite episodes! Steven was literally like "enough of this, time to get through the issue between Pearl and Greg"

Dotty Davis

In my experience, the links have always been crap and rarely ever load, I can only watch a few times a week sometimes. The new system has been working pretty flawlessly for me.

zimXzombie

A tank, in some places you can make them street legal!

apple jacked

It was not just Rebecca tho... This show has an amazing team of writers who worked together to bring us such masterpieces, it is mostly thanks to them and the synergy they created with each other why the first 3 seasons of the show were this good. (SPOILERS BELOW) Another example of this is Future, Rebecca was practically not involved with the production of that epilogue series... And it still turned out amazing, just as good as Season 3, which is the Best season of the show in my opinion.

Julio Castillo

When i first found you guys during your gravity falls reaction, for some reason i genuinely did think that Hman's name did just mean Hentai Man. I'm unsure why, i want to assume i seen a weird comment that made me sit there and think "Is that really what his name means?"

Koopliss

lol not him booing before the other guy

Jella Jellobean

The dad themed episodes have been messing with me.. my dad recently passed in February and my brother a month after. Seeing the show since then alot has been gut punching. Rebecca Sugar is amazing at what she does

Ben Asay

I remember Sky Daddy H man nickname 🤣 these dad themed episodes like a punch to the gut rn. Forgot about the songs, I enjoy that type of stuff. The banter between you guys is amazing 🤣

Ben Asay

H-man= Hammer man- you let him hammer you or he gets the hammer but seriously its over isn’t it is just absolutely beautiful. Never fails to hit me in the feels

Joshua Coe

God! Mr.Greg is still an absolute masterpiece! And it’s over isn’t it is still one of, if not, my favorite songs in SU!

Daniel Nolt

I love this episode so much and it's where, you really understand just what Pearl has been holding in for so long, and seeing her and Greg bond and put the past behind them to help each other move on? So damn good. And yeah, Steven is pretty much the most emotionally mature person in that town at this point.

Seraphem

the song "Love Like You" is purposefully left without a specific character in mind as to who is singing it. It's up to interpretation, and many of the lines can fit multiple characters. (If you ask me, I think it's mainly Rose, but it could really be a lot of people!)

gale

Same, I would pay for it.

Joe Torres

Pearl's song, It's Over Isn't It, is literally one of my all time favorites of this series. There are so many good songs in Steven Universe~!

Cloud Kitsune

Mr. Greg was the first episode of the show that made me cry, after spending all this time discovering all the facets in Pearl's character... Getting to see her at her greatest but also at her lowest points... Watching this episode was an overflow of emotions. The song "it's Over Isn't it" it's also my favorite in the whole show, it represents so much, it evokes so many feelings... and DeeDee Magno Hall's performance was simply masterful. I know that the episode it's called "Mr. Greg" and both Greg and Steven did also play very important roles in it.... But i honestly think that despite it's name this is THE Pearl Episode, and also the episode that solidified her as the Best-written character of the show.

Julio Castillo

'It's Over, Isn't It' is my favorite song of the main series. Just heartbreaking.

William Timmins

Would love to see you guys react to the full outro song at some point! It’s so good!

Em

Homicide Man

Kiran Kenny

Pearls VA goes so HARD in Mr. Greg. She's always an amazing singer, but it's over isn't it is one of the most beautifully done songs in the show! Also to answer Ruff about who's singing at the end it's Rebecca Sugar the shows creator! But if you mean which character is singing, it's kind of left up to interpretation who's singing the song and who it's for :) I'd love to see you guys react to the full outro at some point. I know some people say to wait until the end of season 3 which.. I don't personally get bc the song doesn't spoil anything, but even if you did wait and listen to it in full at the end of season 3 I'd be happy!

Honey

As someone who grew up in New Jersey, it is the worst, do not go.

lol

I mean it when I say, Mr Greg CHANGED the whole SU fandom, one of the best episodes in the series, and Yellowtail and Sour Cream´s relationship hits really hard (especially on fatherless kids like me). Btw a small cool thing about both episodes. Yellowtail and onion speak either irish or norwegian, but in the show it is portraited as "muh muh muh" because Steven can´t understand them, so it sounds like they are speaking nonsense. In Pearl´s song, they had to redo the storyboards for that sequence because Pearl´s voice actor sang so hard and with so much expression in her voice that it didn't match the original faces and movements. The episode mr greg (if I remember correctly) was a little test they did to see how many songs they could fit in a 12 minute episode, to prepare for the SU movie which is a musical.

Topera Otaria

Man I wished we got SU twice a week!

Axander Curvin-Drietz

While they are different people, I think Steven's "you both love me and I love both of you" is also how Rose felt. I think Rose was the type of person who liked to be with more than one person at the time, but Pearl was too insecure to tell her it bothered her. Rose seemed a bit oblivious, like when in the earlier Rose & Greg episode she didn't realize she was being patronizing towards him and laughed right after he told her she doesn't seem to respect him. She only understood because Greg directly told her.

Vilmu

I'll be especially vague about this, but there's more to "It's Over, Isn't It" than what happens here. Specifically, there's other scenes later on in this series which add layers of clarity to this musical number and these characters. I'm excited to see if yall happen to make the connections when these scenes happen--especially since the connections are never explicitly stated (sometimes it takes a fan analysis or gifset to point it out). You've made great observations in the past (ex. "They didn't show that Greg is broke so he probably still has the money"), so I'm sure you guys will pick up on it. In the meantime, thank you for uploading these! I hope you'll enjoy even more! :)

Stash Jones

I totally understand the desire to see a fusion, /but/ if you remember back to "We Need to Talk", Garnet ties a parallel between talking about your feelings with fusion, equating them as the same. In a way, Greg and Pearl "fused" here if we're going by Garnet's past definition and example of Greg trying to fuse with Rose but ending up just talking about their feelings. Of course we'd like to see a new actual fusion, but I love how the scene of Greg and Pearl talking things out mirror Greg and Rose talking things out and coming to an understanding. Obviously, the natures of their relationships are entirely different, but it's so much fun to point out these connections. I will say that the color palette for "Mr. Greg" is a narrative technique used to further the story depth too, and I'll leave it at that. So glad you enjoyed one of the best SU eps! :)

Stash Jones

Surprised they didn’t talk more about Mr Greg tbh. With all the Pearl/ Greg development.

High Voltage

It's over isn't it?~ I love this song so much it's so iconic along with the visuals.

Rem

That whole time you guys were just making fun of Hman at the end I was literally crying that was too funny. I couldnt even breathe 🤣🤣🤣🤣

KaitouKay1412

The H in H-Man obviously stands for Hydrogen

perserverantSoul

Mr Greg is a top tier episode. Also, the use of colour in Both of you… very intentional

High Voltage

Will you guys take The Book of Life for a movie recommendation?

Sydney Horton

Hopefully any remaining toxic Pearl fans can calm down now. Honestly, I can't get past this shows excellent foreshadowing. It's actually insane.

Sydney Horton

Mr Greg is such a good episode

Sérgio

Its over isn't it is such a good song. They actually had to reanimate that scene because Deedee (Pearl's VA) went so hard on it. Also this was a bit of a trial episode for them to try out more musical numbers in the show to see how it would be received, amongst other reasons I won't spoil. But this episode really changed a lot of people's viewpoint of Pearl.

TyTy

AHH! We're finally at Mr. Greg!! This is in my top five episodes for the entire series, it's so so good! Love the way it's boarded, love the musical numbers, DeeDee's performance especially (Pearl), and how it FINALLY addresses the rift between these two so they can start to work towards a friendship. Everything about it is solid. Honourable mentions to that one guy that just goes "BOO YOU RUINED THE SONG!", for making me choke on my drink the first time I saw this lol

Kemi Stanton

The musical episode is so good, one of the best in the whole show.

Jack Middleton

If you are in the discord they have the streamable links

Artemys Jones

For the future, can the episodes be posted on streamable? The videos load very slow on the main website and I have to pause multiple times while watching.
