But Marceline eeks it out just a bit more for me. I'm sure a ton of people love Bubblegum, too, but if they could only have one, it'd probably be Marceline.

Also I think most people prefer Marceline in general. I like both of them a lot bc of their character arcs that will progress throughout the show. But Marcy is still my favorite of the two.

Marceline is the one that usually gets all the simping. And you're right, there is good reason not to trust PB. Although I'm not gonna talk about it cuz spoilers.
