2023-04-18 08:06:24 +0000 UTCSooooooooo 2 things and the second one is mainly cause u guys brought it up a bit during the vid (no spoilers, promise) 1- I'm gonna be watching this vid like 1000 times between now and when the season ends lol, loved ur guys reactions here and totally agree the first ep was fan-fucking-tastic 2- I've actually been agonizing on it but I dont think there will be as much left in the series in terms of length compared to what you guys were kinda hypothesizing. You guys confirmed during ep 1 what I already assumed in terms of the length of this arc where they were stopping for manga/story point but ive thought about it a lot and I think the most likely scenario for remaining length of series depending on how they decide to pace it is either 2 seasons, or 1 season and a movie which sucks because I want more than that because the animation and attention to detail in this series has been so good

2023-04-18 05:32:00 +0000 UTCepisode one spoilers below (doesnt spoil anything later in the story) Just a small little tid bit: The man in the "dream" of Tanjiro's (the father holding the baby) is named Sumiyoshi, and Tanjiro's dad, who was formerly introduced in S2 during the train arc, is named Tanjuro! So Sumiyoshi is definitely not Tanjiro's dad, but further along in the family tree.
