How does Jake just casually have the power to make the things he imagines real? Well..... The Huge Twist in this regard is that the Entirety of the Adventure Time Universe it's actually the Dream of an unknown Cosmic Being, similar to how in real life our Universe is just the Dream of the God Vishnu in Hindu Mythology (although this is just a popular theory). That's why dreams and imagination sometimes have great influence in the reality of the show, and this is also why things like Knife Storms are possible here.
