Also, flawed characters are interesting cuz they are more realistic especially after living thousands of years and losing your love interest.

As someone who critizied your jokes about Pearl in the first episodes I wanna give a quick explanation about why I felt you sounded sincere. I thought you were sincere when you said stuff like "Nobody likes you" to Pearl due to the tone of those words. However once you guys explained the contexts of the jokes I understood better how they were intended. I'm sorry for missreading the Pearl jokes and I'm happy you all are continuing to react to this great series. :)

2023-03-10 19:35:40 +0000 UTCthe episode order is correct its just the numbers that arent right because some of the season 1 episodes were pushed into season 2 incorrectly. The chronological order is correct they are just numbering it based on the episode numbers on Hulu which is probably easier

2023-03-10 19:01:56 +0000 UTCit is thanks to episodes like Sworn to the Sword the Reason why Pearl is such a great character, and same case with Amethyst with her dedicated episodes. they both are extremely flawed individuals and makes watching them grow and develop all the more satisfying. Garnet on the other hand is from the beginning a very complete and round character and therefore more limited in terms of storytelling.... don't get me wrong she's still awesome and likeable..... but the quality of her personal story is not as well-written and compelling as the other two in my opinion, which is why Pearl is my personal favorite character. althought i do understand why she might come as unlikeable, her struggles do tend to put others in harms-way.... but that is also part of what makes a story interesting.

While I do love Roses Scabbard and Sworn to the Sword as episodes, it really does showcase some of Pearl's worst qualities. Mainly caused by her obsession with Rose.
