(silver) Amphibia S3 Episode 1 REACTION

Comments

I suggest Troll hunters I think its a great show to watch

hellsion32

oh if they watch jackie chan i will lose it THATS MY FAVORITE CHILDHOOD SHOW

matthew james Stromberg

love she ra so much

Ultra Instincts Shu

YESS STAR VS THE FORCES OF EVIL IS GREAT PLEASE WATCH.. its the spiritual sucessor of Gravity falls

Ultra Instincts Shu

Another good show to watch is Jackie Chan Adventures. Also Star vs the Forces of Evil. Also Danny Phantom.

Daniel P Bittner

I'll mention it again at the end of season 3, but if you want a show that has a similar vibe, I would absolutely recommend Wakfu (subtitled of course). It's a french cartoon that also broaches adult territories, but actually fully abandons its adolescence in the third season after intentionally breaking away from its publisher to become crowd funded. I honestly can't praise it enough.

Daniel P Bittner

Kipo and the Age of wonderbeasts is amazing for you guys. Same vibe with plot heavy stuff earlier on

Artemys Jones

Also I forgot Rick and Morty too

Amlife

I recommend watching Infinity Train, Kipo and the age of Wonderbeasts, the Dragon Prince or Hilda after this

Zinga

the modern version of She-ra is a must watch (5 seasons) and adventure time

Amlife

Definitely watch She-ra for similar vibes its great

Garrett Malone

If you do decide to watch star vs the forces of evil, you will have take the series with a grain of salt. The series has mixed opinions, and in my fairest opinion season 2 and the beginning season 3 is where the series peeks to its strongest point, but felt like it fell apart towards the end of season 3. I'll be curious how the series holds up today with new viewers.

Logan Plock

Hilda is a really good one. Still waiting on the final season.

Logan Plock

100% with you on Star VS, please don't give that show a chance. I was a big fan during season two but it gets really bad afterwards, seeing people recommend it or still have a high opinion of it is baffling. Unless you like needlessly complicated teenage relationship issues, it's probably too annoying to sit through.

drac

If you guys want another cartoon to watch yall should definitely watch Shera you wont regret make sure you watch the 5 season modern netflix original and not the one from the 90s, Also yall can continue adventure time it starts of a little less serious like amphibia then gets very serious I love owl house and amphibian but I still think adventure time is better

Amlife

This was a great episode, also a learning experience for me, now I know about Durian 🤣

Ben Asay

Ruff tries durian stream when?! Also jackfruit and durian are 2 different things, jackfruit smells so much better than durian and has a rubbery texture, juicy fruit gum is jackfruit. Durian tastes like onion to me

GainingGamer

I would definitely recommend she-ra, kipo, the dragon prince, legend of vox machina, dota, hilda, and centaurworld.

SGM

ooh and scooby doo mystery incorporated and infinity train for sure! those shows are so good

kruz miller

i think y’all would enjoy kipo and the age of wonderbeasts! it’s a fun and compelling watch!!

kruz miller

I'd like to see you react to She-Ra and the Princesses of Power. Very character-driven, season 1 is the slowest (not nearly as bad as Amphibia's first season with that, though.)

Vilmu

Agree with mlp fim, but star didn’t turn into a mess imo

GainingGamer

one of you mentioned that people have been recommending you Star vs The Forces of Evil and i would totally recommend it too IF i didn't know how it ends. So for good measure... don't watch Star vs the Forces of Evil if you don't wanna see a good show with a good story transform into a disappointing Mess. but 2 shows i definetly want to recommend are The Amazing World of Gumball and My Little Pony Friendship is Magic. Gumball is a 100% episodic Shenanigas-shows and that kind of format nowadays tends to repel people... but Gumball might as well be THE Funniest cartoon network show i have ever seen, even if it doesn't have an overarching plot i think it is well-worth watching. and on the other Hand My Little Pony Friendship is Magic is a show that i would personally describe as 80% Episodic Shenanigas and 20% Overarching Plot. and some people would think "My Little Pony? with an Overarching Plot? are you crazy?"...... and i know it doesn't look like it from the outside view... but this show is soooo much better than a lot of people think, and it's episodic shenanigas are also much more entertaining to watch to than 99% of shows of the same demographic. So... if you are open to idea... i really recommend you guys to react to it.

Julio Castillo

Definitely recommend She-Ra and Centaurworld.

Kayla Ryan

aaaaahh yaaaa the beginning of the end. I'm so excited!

Obsidianfox

definetly always going to suggest Kipo or Invincible two very solid shows edit: also for a movie recommendation definetly Mitchell's vs machines.

Obsidianfox

agreeing with what others have said n recommending: infinity train, she-ra, legend of vox machina & scooby doo mystery inc,

dotto

You guys should totally watch the movie Tangled and then watch Tangled the series on Disney plus. There's also Over the Garden Wall and Scooby-Doo Mystery incorporated from Cartoon Network

Sydney Horton

Dang! You beat me to it. Yep, Matt Braly's mother. She actually does a very solid job, I feel.

DementisXYZ

If you're looking for recommendations, here's a few: Dead End: Paranormal Park, Costume Quest, Channel Zero, She-Ra and the Princesses of Power, Over the Garden Wall, A Series of Unfortunate Events, ENA, Locke and Key, Mystery Incorporated, and The Hollow. Most of these are animated, save for CZ, ASoUE, and Locke and Key.

perserverantSoul

Infinity Train is an incredible show that is also amazing at balancing great comedy with dark and intense scenes! I think yall would love it!

Cookie

I think Infinity Train is the show I'd recommend the most, however another Disney show I'd wholeheartedly suggest is Tangled the Series! I don't see any reactions to it which is unfortunate, It's genuinely pretty good and not a cash grab based off the fact it's a continuation of Tangled. Otherwise, I think Centaurworld and She-Ra would be interesting? I think Centaurworld is maybe most in line with The Owl House and Amphibia type of 'silly to serious' vibe. I'd also vouch for Vox Machina as a really good series to watch, it's an adult show and not really like the previous suggestions BUT genuinely really good.

drac

fun fact- anne's mom is voiced by the creators mom!

Since you mentioned at the start that you're looking for similar stuff, I made a comment on your Wednesday episode 8 reaction with a bunch of shows that are worth watching and you would definitely enjoy. Here's the link for convenience: https://www.patreon.com/posts/wednesday-8-75339734 I still recommend every single one of those shows and any of them would be worth watching. One that's not on the list but is equally worth watching is The Legend of Vox Machina. Season 2 finished recently and it's greenlit for at least a third season. You can find my comment with information about it here: https://www.patreon.com/posts/patreon-youtube-77855555

SauceyRed

Just a few weeks ago I was giggling when you were having discussions assuming they wouldn’t get to Earth until the end of the series
