2023-02-09 05:18:22 +0000 UTCSeason 1 eh fun goofy front episodic episodes that were good and high moments with Sasha overall 6/10. Season 2 heck of a a lot more plot and and more world building and more serious moments with probably the best finale I’ve seen I have to agree with y’all. The end credits are best scene when they show up cuz for people watching it when it aired it kinda killed the oh no Marcy dead oh she’s fine I mean it’s disny but still. Overall 8/10. And now back to more of the same season one type episodes not gonna say anything just 6.5/10 imo it didn’t hold up right after true colors.

Let's strap in for the final season everyone. This show is truly worthy of DVD treatment. I want to own the show to pass down for generations to come. It's so beautiful and AMAZING.

But if you guys are curious about what Sasha and/or Marcy were up to in Amphibia before they met up with Anne you should check out their theme takeovers! Marcy had some wild adventures that the show doesn't cover outside the takeover or her journal, and it was fun to watch

2023-02-08 23:39:32 +0000 UTCjust so you guys know the creator didnt want to putt the season 3 opening at the end but because disney was afraid that kids would freak out to much the marcy death, they wanted that opening so kids would know that in some weird way a version of marcy was kept in a pickle jar

2023-02-08 23:35:45 +0000 UTCWell, as far as I'm aware, the creators *didn't* intend to include the season 3 intro at the end (or the warning at the start for that matter), that was all because of Disney executives. Disney didn't want people to think Marcy was dead, so they had them add the after-credits thing to assure parents and whatever other investors that Marcy was not dead and that it was a family friendly show where a child won't be stabbed and *killed* in a season finale.

Disney just *had* to make sure people knew that Marcy wasn't *actually* dead, unfortunately. When it came out a lot of people didn't know about it and I wish I did so I could've avoided it. It's a shame you aren't able to speculate on whether Marcy's alive or not, but other than that it really doesn't detract from the show in any way.

2023-02-08 20:05:26 +0000 UTCYeah, the main reason why it wasn't recommended to watch the post credits scene is cause it wasn't intended. The episode didn't originally have the warning and the post credits scene till Disney pulled it last minute after noticing the Marcy scene at the end. If it wasn't for iTunes accidentally releasing/leaking the episode, they likely would've had to remove it. The warning and post-credits scene was a compromise, pretty much forcing them to reveal the tank part of the intro prior to the reveal in the show, which from the way they did it also shows that the intro wasn't intended to be shown till after the Season 3 premiere, they were probably already finished with that episode by the time the Season 2 Finale was supposed to air. That's pretty much why we said for youse not to watch it but it is what it is. Look forward to the Season 3 reactions.

But the thing is... this new Intro confirms that Marcy it's pretty much still alive which kinda takes away the impact of her apparent death in True Colors... and yes, i know that everyone can guess on their own that Marcy it's not really dead... but the emotions each of us experience during that last moment should be left like that for a while so that we have time to proccess it. And also because it makes for a better reaction and discussion.
