2023-02-16 02:31:14 +0000 UTCkeep with it, i know its very kid-ish and random at first but it gets deep as the seasons progress. there's a lot more to the world they live in as well if you pay attention to the environment. it's kinda hinted at later so i wont spoil it but pay attention to the backgrounds in the intro too.

Not that many people have reacted to it either so im so glad my favorite reactors are doing it now. I hope yall stick with the series, the first few 3 seasons have plot but arent too heavy on it, but after that, woah boy, they up the plot massively and it gets even better that it already was. :)

2023-02-02 06:12:00 +0000 UTCAs many people are saying and you guys asked there is a story and connected episodes but that is in the later episodes so many of the first episodes /seasons are chaotic but it does have consistency and the show gets deep. Keep in mind that the chaotic episodes never end but it really does get emotional! I love this series.

Its goofy and fun show that slowly builds up an interesting and intriguing plot. The series also takes inspiration from video games, anime, and cartoons alike, I very much recommend it.

2023-02-01 14:59:47 +0000 UTCReally surprised and happy that you guys are reacting to Adventure Time. also... some people here are suggesting that you should also react to Regular Show, and it makes sense since that series is the Sister Show of Adventure Time (both started airing in 2010), and while that could be very enterteining as well... since Regular Show it's in essence more of a Episodic show all the way through (almost every episode has it's own plot/conflict that is resolved at the end of the same episode) i don't think it would be as rewarding/satisfactory of an experience as a Reaction Series, instead... you could just watch it on your own at your own pace. BUT (and this is a Huge But) if you guys had to react to a show that is purely Episodic in nature... then i can't recommend enough the show "The Amazing World of Gumball", because even if it doesn't have a Grand Narrative/Plot like the majority of shows you´re watching it's still up there in terms of quality, definetly more worth doing a Reaction Series than Regular show in my humble opinion.

2023-02-01 08:54:42 +0000 UTCwow....now this show too? yeaaaaah, if you're really gonna react to this show, you are in for the long haul. this is 10 seasons long with about 25 to 30 episodes each season. maybe a little more. also, just like other shows, the actual lore and story doesn't pick up until multiple season in.

I never noticed the one piece similarities until now though. I think you can find translations for the Korean she's speaking. I had a blast watching this with you guys, you guys had a bigger blast it seems. I was the same way 🤣🤣

Definitely one of if not the best American animated shows ever, it definitely starts of random but eventually becomes more serialized as it goes, time passes. Characters grow older, have major life events, fall in and out of love, come to terms with trauma and have crazy batshit adventures! With 10 seasons 283 episodes and a series of HBO specials y’all have quite the adventure ahead and I am looking forward to seeing you all react to the ever changing world of Ooo!

And fun fact, Rebecca Sugar, the creator of Steven Universe, was a Storyboard Revisionist on this first season of Adventure Time, and then became a full fledged Storyboard Artist on the show! They composed a lot of the music as well, which makes a lottttt of sense.

2023-02-01 03:15:27 +0000 UTCSo a few things. First off, your reactions for this show are great! Completely understandable confusion. Second, you probably noticed but each episode is 11 minutes long. The place you are watching has each 11 minute segment seperated. But when it was playing on TV, 2 11-minute segments created one episode. It still is OK to call each segment a separate episode though so no complaints or anything, just wanted to mention it. Third, the show either slows down a bit or you get used to the speed (once again, 11 minute limit) and it really can get deep with its themes but it takes time. I'd say Season 1 can be pretty hit or miss but after that, the show is rarely less than at least good. Beginning of the series really drops you into this very expansive world without much explaining at first. The more episodes you'll watch, the world will expand but will also slowly become more and more understandable which makes it really fun to learn about it. Sorry for the huge wall of text, just really love the show and I actually think Adventure Time might be one of the best cartoons that were ever made. Probably up there with Gravity Falls and Regular Show. It just takes a bit of time to get really going and for creators to find their footing
