To be honest, the Owl House's first season was kinda worse than Amphibia's. The Owl House's first season for the most part had no plot besides " Luz wants to learn magic". Belos gets name dropped once, and only shows up for the last few episodes. At least Amphibia sets its main plot in the first episode and sprinkles small revelations in-between episodes. Yes, its slow, but its consistent.

2023-01-18 21:07:57 +0000 UTCSo this is more just my recommendation for when you finish Amphibia. They released a real life, Marcy’s Journal, last month. It’s like Gravity Falls’s 3rd Journal. Basically it shows everything Marcy was up to as well as how episodes went from her perspective. It’s a fantastic read and I think you all would like it ^^ Just make sure to get it after finishing the show since it does go up to the finale.

You don't expect the word "undone" when someone talks about a prophecy, you expect "fulfilled". For me, at least, it threw me off-guard and made the whole thing so much more intriguing.
