First of all, when Sarah wants to make pancakes but there’s no flour, then the neighbors ask Joel if he wants some biscuits but he refuses since he’s on a low/no carb diet, he promises Sarah a birthday cake but ends up forgetting it, when Sarah is at the neighbors and she’s offered raisin cookies, she obviously doesn’t want any so she doesn’t eat any, but the old lady had already been fed biscuits the whole episode. Also recall when Jakarta is mentioned, which has the worlds largest flour mill. So, basically, the virus started via some form of fungal infection through processed flour. It’s always gluten man 🫡

But yeah I was super skeptical about this when it was announced but I am super impressed with it so far, hopefully, it stays on track and does not make drastic changes that make no sense.
