I agree that in my eyes, Glass Onion and Knives Out are about equal, since both have a very different vibe (Murder mystery mansion versus tropical vacation drama), and while I do think the rest of the Disruptors didn’t get immediate comeuppance, I think it’s implied they will. The governor immediately loses any credibility on the political landscape and most likely gets hate for the power plant which she already signed on, Lionel gets shunned by his peers, Birdie and Peg may never work in the fashion industry again, and Miles obviously gets his due to the fullest. Whiskey seems to be the one with the best deal, since she already didn’t really like the gang in the first place. Honestly, there aren’t many movies like these and Bullet Train, but I’d still like to suggest a few. Most of the recent Wes Anderson films are wonderful, including The French Dispatch and Isle of Dogs. Oceans 8 has Sandra Bullock in it with some comedy, and isn’t incredibly over the top. And a nice psychological thriller is 1408 starring John Cusack.
