2022-12-18 08:56:31 +0000 UTCPersonally I didn't enjoy DBZ Kai as much as DBZ, but that's mostly because Kai felt a lot more stiff and sterile (as well as oddly glossy) in its artwork compared to the rougher animation that just... hit better for me. XD Maybe I just like the grittier art style of shows like One Piece and DBZ before the transition to a more modern day animation style. I think Kai was also where Mr. Popo was radioactive blue, which was kinda hilarious, though. XD

2022-12-17 22:13:44 +0000 UTCIf I remember correctly, Curtis is voice 8, Scott is voice 13, and Nick is voice 15. I know the first one for certain, but it's been years so I'm not so much on the other two. Also, that Kai scene is available on YouTube, and is 100% legit.

2022-12-17 20:36:49 +0000 UTCTo let you guys know how big the abridged series is, a decent number of the original English voice actors openly admit to loving the show, and one in particular who can't be named for legal reasons has contributed his voice on multiple occasions. Also, the 3 writers, Nick Landis, Curtis Arnott, and Scott Frerichs, all got to be "custom character voices" in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2. Going one step further, there's a scene in the English dub of Dragon Ball Z Kai that was cut (because Toei animation wouldn't let Funimation air it) that was written and voiced by TeamFourStar.
