Genuinely, as someone who never really stopped watching the Simpsons, it's been having a second wind lately! It's not Peak Classic Seasons level quality, but they've been doing some fun stuff recently. They're even willing to change their format, (non-canon two partner episodes just because they had a fun idea,) or change character dynamics, (Moe has a healthy relationship and a fiance!) it's kind of cool to see them get more experimental with the show. It's not season five or anything, but a lot of episodes recetly more than just "solid tv" imo.
