the reason a lot of people don't like seraphine is because she was made to appeal to sales and not to fit into the story. Most characters have design choices and color schemes that match what area they are from. Seraphine is from Piltover with Zaunite parents, you would never guess that based on her design or story. To a lot of league fans, seraphine represents the direction the league is taking that a fans don't really agree with, screwing over monster/void characters to appeal to conventionally attractive characters.

Think designing a canon dbz character just for fortnite crossover. Doesnt work. However in legends of runeterra, they fixed her design to make it more in-universe which people liked.
