Quick tidbit about the iron throne. Its a chair made from the dragonwelded swords of every noble who swore to the original Targaryen king. The chair is meant to represent ultimate power because whoever sits in this chair wields all the power of the seven kingdoms. But its also a throne of blades. Weak people cannot sit on the iron throne. If one is too week both literally and figuratively the position will harm you, like how the king was cut multiple times by it. Basically the throne rejects him.

2022-10-06 19:47:02 +0000 UTCQuick FYI, this show IS based on a book but it's a weird book written from the perspective of a maester (the doctors/scholars of this show) from the time of Game of Thrones writing about stuff that happened hundreds of years before, so in lots of cases even the writer of the book isn't sure what really happened. So even those of us who read the book can still be surprised at some of the stuff in the show.

I think before every episode going forward you should watch alt shift X's videos on Hot D that are really good and they had a lot of additional info about the different noble houses, the dragons, etc, he does one for every new episode each week.
