In the London area I was renting a room in a shared house for £600. My now partner rented a studio flat for £1300. I moved to Scotland and got a studio flat for £600. Now we live near Manchester and renting a 2 bedroom house for £950. Our surroundings is very nice but the Manchester area in general is crap. Hungary is not that cheap anymore sadly, but hopefully we can find somewhere cheaper in the next few years with better climate because the weather here is not good for my health.
