Looking forward to cactus girl (cactina?) joining a super team with kinga and cyberia amongst the stranger transformations you’ve tried your hand at. Maybe if the unstoppables are the manic verses avengers this would be like its equivalent of the defenders.

Although superhero books didn't really become a thing for me until I was a little older, I collected Secret Wars and it made a powerful impression on me.

My son was asking me what I liked to draw when I was a kid, and I remembered that I loved to get a sheet of A1 paper and draw epic Zoids battles. Zoids were build-from-a-kit wind-up toys that were quite popular here in the UK back in the 80s. I thought I'd have a stab at drawing them as a (sort of) grown-up. Hellishly difficult to draw, but fun!

I decided to give her a little rogues gallery there in the background and, as a Dandy reader in my youth, thought about that weird cactus dude who sometimes antagonised Desperate Dan.
