I'll start with a question of rare iconographic importance.
God.
In the sense that I have encountered a serious doubt about the representation of God!
Is it possible that no other artist in history has ever thought about it, I thought?
It may seem stupid as a doubt, or thought, but as I was about to draw THE SHADOWS, you know, the shades of colors.
I thought: "But...on God, who is an intangible entity made of light, do shadows go?? Does God have shadows?" All painters, from Michelangelo to all the others, have not asked themselves the question that painting shadows on God was strange?
He is not tangible... he is not made of flesh, so he could not have shadows cast on his masses! It's like ghosts... ghosts do not have shadows... or at least they shouldn't. I remember the cartoon I watched as a child, by Hanna and Barbera: The funky phantom, although (for budget reasons) all the characters did not have shadows (like anime) the ghost was completely white. And in fact it was perfect! So now I have the doubt that God does not have shadows, being intangible and ethereal... apart from only the colors... maybe dictated by the light of the atmosphere... but I don't know, I'm starting to have doubts even about God's colors LOL!
If I had been Michelangelo, before making shadows on God I would have asked Pope Julius II for confirmation first!

Oh that's lovely! The four pictures look great so far! :D Oh dear, who to pick as my favorite... Violet's is so bloody funny! How happy she looks despite the petrified body besides her on the floor. XD It's like she's saying, "Oh hi there! Welcome to my lair! Sorry, ignore the body, I keep forgetting to clean that up, hehe~" XD I like the detail on the helmet with the two holes for the ears ... even if my armor entusiast side screams at me that they defeat the purpose of the helmet. XD And all the snakes fit her so well to! All kind of happy and a little bubbly in their own way with one mischievously liking its lips... Now is it looking at Violet or the viewer? ^^" I suppose I could ask, where did the inspiration for Violet's clothing come form? Now we go to Mary. Ah, beautiful Mary the virgin... Fitting she got the Eve role. XD Ah, and of course William's there too, being his usual frustrated self. XD This dynamic really reminds me of the legacy version when he was supposed to take Mary into town and she started striping. XD Nice joke there with Mary forgetting to put her "censor" leaves on. :) I like how the snake looks a bit flattered, almost like it's giving her the apple more because it's trying to flirt with her rather than trick her. :P And of course we have Simon the Father up in the clouds watching on angerly. XD Now is he prissy because she's strutting around naked, or because she's about to eat the apple? Hard to tell at this point. :P Next there's Betty the Queen ... and apparently snake whisperer. :P Although snake charmer might be a better term, as the cobra does indeed look very charmed. XD I can see a lot of snake symbolism on her with her armbands, earrings, on her head -- snakes all around! All that was missing was an Ouroboros on her back. XD I really like how the picture tells a story. Betty was picking up a basket that held a snake, took off the lid, but the snake was not there. Instead, it had slithered out and up her leg which Betty felt and turned around in surprise to see it staring back at her with a blush. :D ...This is also the picture that I would consider the sexiest. :P Lastly we have Miss Io in the Chamber of Secrets... Or at least I think it's the Chamber of Secrets. What to say about this one... It's windy down there for sure. XD Seems Miss Io found a still young basilisk down there and became its friend, considering she isn't paralyzed. :P You said you were a "Slytherin" right? Well, that explains why your avatar is a Slytherin too. :) It's a nice picture; wholesome in a way while still being NSFW. :P I like her staff. How did you come up with its shape? Now to pick a favorite... Oh that's a though one, but I think I'm gonna have to go with Violet. It just tells its own story well while showing off Violet's character. There's so much going on with her "hair" that it's impressive ... and it's quite sexy too. ^^" Lastly... Oh dear. I'm not a theologian, but God the Son, Jesus, has a shadow, while God the Father does not... Actually, apparently drawing him is a very "inaccurate" way of portraying him as he doesn't have a physical form, but artists do it anyway to try and represent him in an understandable way. So ... technically no, he does not have a shadow... But then he doesn't have a body either, so because you have drawn him (in a way) I'd say draw what would give the best effect. If you want a looming shadow being cast down on Will and Mary, go for it. If you don't want that, you can leave the shadow out. I think it's kind of a situation where you have already drawn God "incorrectly," so you can't really get any more wrong already. ^^" Anyway, wonderful job, Vanessa! It's a lot of work, and you've done it well. :)

Eventually, I’ll unlock all the content with a higher subscription. I decided to do this because “I’m broke,” jaja. 🙂 You have no idea how hard it is to get $dollars$ in Argentina, seriously, but I’m doing it because I want to support this project.
